In National Geographic's Collapse, filmmakers Noel Dockstader and Quinn Kanaly explore the decline of civilizations past and future. Combining documentary filmmaking with visually compelling computer graphics, Collapse creates a future world that is both foreboding and beautiful.

In order to create this world, SPY had to destroy it. Visual Effects Supervisor Craig Hayes led a team of artists in designing a world 200 years in the future.

SPY helped complete the film practically and artistically, by providing both visual effects and post production services at one facility. In addition to visual effects and motion graphics, SPY did the final conform, color, opening title and lower thirds design for the feature. We’ve never before been so proud to help “ruin” someone’s vision.

Collapse: Based on the Book By Jared Diamond airs in the fall on the National Geographic Channel.
