SPY partnered with BBDO NY to deliver this stereoscopic 3D spot for Gillette. The ad, which debuted during the broadcast of the 2010 World Cup, was one of three commercials to usher in the launch of the first 3D television network, ESPN 3D.

Combining the stereoscopic CG animation and live action, SPY composited the spot in Flame. The final conform, color grading and 3D sweetening were completed in stereo in SPY’s 3D Digital Intermediate Theatre.

Using the latest in “cutting edge” technology, SPY set the stage for 3D commercial workflow and gave Gillette the “best an ad can get.”
